B-1334X Torbal Analytical Pollution Balance
Torbal ANALYTICAL POLLUTION BALANCE with Solid State Null Indicator and ”No Knife Edge” Construction. This balance also features an extra-large weighing chamber for use in air pollution analysis. In addition to the large easel for supporting large filter sheets, it comes with a standard pan and bow assembly for regular analytical use. In addition to the large easel for supporting large filter sheets, it comes with a standard pan and bow assembly for regular analytical use.
The null indicator not only simplifies weighing samples to the fourth decimal place, but it improves reading, accuracy, and reproducibility…because it allows a more accurate determination of the point at which the balance is equilibrium. The use of the null principle also prevents inaccuracies from variations in sensitivity. The Torbal ”no knife edge” construction assures maximum accuracy and minimum maintenance.
Easy to operate. For sample weighing, just set the desired weights on the dials directly to 0.1 mg, add the sample, and watch the easy-to-follow sweep of the needle until it reaches zero. There’s no optical projection arrangement to observe, no micrometer or verier to read.
Overall dimensions of the metal housing are 13 1/4” x 17 1/2” high x 20” high. Weighing chamber: 12 5/8” x 6” x 8 3/4” high. Removable stainless steel pan: 4” in diameter.
